Very Important Information about LOUD sounds

It is a fact... prolonged exposure to loud sounds will cause hearing loss. But because you generally don't know it has happened until it is too late, we want our customers to be aware of the need for hearing conservation. Both the US Occupational Safety and Health Adminstration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) have published noise exposure standards that describe how long you can safely listen to sounds of differing intensities. Remember, that these numbers reflect 'average' ears and that yours may be more or less sensitive.
It is important that you keep the sound coming through your monitors at a safe volume level.
Your hearing is YOUR responsibility!
NIOSH Recommended Daily Limits

If you hear a buzzing or ringing or if things sound muffled after using musician monitors, it is an indication that you have been exposed to sounds that are too loud. Continued exposure to excessive sounds could lead to permanent irreversible hearing loss.
Do not allow loud sounds to damage your hearing!
